• Free clean applications: if you submit an application for a free clean project, you may voluntarily share personal details. This can include sensitive information such as physical or mental health conditions, living situations or personal circumstances.

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), health and mental health details are classified as Special Category Data.

• Purpose: any health or personal information provided in a free clean application is used strictly to evaluate, select, plan and safely carry out free clean transformation projects.
• Explicit consent: by submitting a free clean application containing health or personal background details, you give your explicit consent for us to process that information solely for assessing and managing your application.
• Confidentiality: application details are kept private and accessible only to the core project team. They are never sold, rented or shared with third parties or advertisers.

Submitting an application does not mean your story will automatically be filmed or posted online.

If your application is selected, a separate formal consent agreement will be discussed with you before any filming or media creation takes place.

Application details and correspondence are retained securely so we can review potential candidates, keep waiting lists active and maintain accurate records for ongoing or future transformation projects.

You have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to:

• Access the personal information held about you (Subject Access Request).
• Request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete details.
• Withdraw your consent or request the deletion of your personal or application data at any time.
